Qualifications

• Experience in breaking news environments.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and prioritize accuracy over speed.
• Experience editing copy in a newsroom.
• Familiarity with CMS tools.
• Excellent communication with colleagues across locations.

Responsabilités

• Copy edit a wide variety of stories including breaking news and politics.
• Ensure copy follows Guardian style and is error-free.
• Communicate with desk editors and reporters on edits.
• Coordinate workload with weekend editors and colleagues.
• Liaise with editors on homepage coverage and mobile alerts.
• Work with visuals and audience desks to ensure proper artwork and SEO.
