Job summary

Winder Center for Nursing and Healing is seeking a Cook to support food service for weekend coverage. The role includes meal preparation, adherence to dietary guidelines, and maintaining safety standards in a patient-focused environment.

The position requires at least 1 year of healthcare kitchen experience, a high school diploma, and ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days). Eligible for health, dental, vision, retirement, PTO, and flexible scheduling benefits.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation following established guidelines under the Food Services Manager.

• Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers, and ovens.
• Record menu substitutions accurately.
• Provide a warm and friendly demeanor to patients, families, and visitors.
• Adhere to safety protocols and corporate compliance standards.

Location: 263 East May St, Winder, GA, 30680

SHIFT: PRN Weekends 12AM-8:30AM

• Assisting with food preparation following established guidelines and under the direction of the Food Services Manager
• Creating nutritious dishes based on dietary guidelines for each meal
• Skillfully operating kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers, ovens, and more
• Understanding menu substitutions and accurately recording them
• Providing a warm and friendly demeanor to patients, family, and visitors
• Adhering to safety protocols and corporate compliance standards
