Job summary

Westbury Center of Conyers for Nursing and Healing is seeking a Cook to join our care-focused team. You will assist with meal preparation, follow dietary guidelines, and operate kitchen equipment under guidance of the Food Services Manager.

We value dependability and a positive attitude. Requirements include a high school diploma and healthcare kitchen experience; ServSafe certification is preferred or obtainable within 90 days.

Shift Availability:

• 6 AM to 2 PM
• 12 PM to 8 PM

Responsibilities of the Cook:

• Assisting with food preparation following established guidelines and under the direction of the Food Services Manager
• Creating nutritious dishes based on dietary guidelines for each meal
• Skillfully operating kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers, ovens, and more
• Understanding menu substitutions and accurately recording them
• Providing a warm and friendly demeanor to patients, family, and visitors
• Adhering to safety protocols and corporate compliance standards

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 1 year of experience (healthcare kitchen experience is a bonus!)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• ServSafe certification preferred or willingness to get certified within 90 days.
• Dependable, positive, and ready to bring your A-game every day
