Job summary

Greenridge Place Memory Care is seeking a compassionate Weekend Cook to prepare and serve meals for residents, including those with dietary restrictions. This role requires attention to detail, a warm demeanor, and the ability to work weekend shifts and holidays as needed.

You will follow recipe cards, maintain a clean, safe kitchen, collaborate with the culinary team on events, and help track meal prep and inventory.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of cooking experience in a senior living or healthcare setting.
• Ability to work weekends and occasional holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve weekend meals for residents, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner
• Follow recipe cards and dietary guidelines to ensure compliance with resident needs
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards
• Work collaboratively with the culinary team to plan and prepare special events and activities
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and staff
• Maintain accurate records of meal preparation and inventory management

About the Weekend Cook Role
