The Meridian at Punta Gorda is hiring a part-time Concierge/Receptionist at our Punta Gorda, FL community. The role greets guests warmly in person or over the phone and serves as the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors.

We emphasize teamwork, integrity, respect, and excellence. A high school diploma and strong communication skills are required; prior customer service experience is preferred to support a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in answering telephones and/or in a customer service position.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Must meet health requirements and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly in person or by phone.

The Concierge/Receptionist greets all guests in a friendly, warm, and welcoming manner – whether this be in-person or over the phone. This position creates a welcoming environment as the first contact guests have when they enter the community.

QualificationsRequirements:

• Previous experience answering telephones and/or in a customer service position
• Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to deal tactfully with employees, residents, family members, and visitors
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
• Must be honest, fair, dependable, respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others
