Walman Optical in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking an Associate Technician for weekend coating to set up, operate and maintain lab equipment in surface or finish areas. You will follow procedures, interpret Rx tickets, and perform calibration and routine maintenance while assisting team members.

Safety training is required and lifting up to 50 pounds is expected. The role offers a starting pay of $17.25 per hour plus shift differential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and perform basic maintenance on equipment in the assigned area.
• Interpret Rx work tickets and follow procedures.
• Perform production operations and basic calibrations.
• Provide training and guidance to less experienced staff; attend trainings as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and comply with safety rules.
