Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five+ years of experience in CNC machining operations.
• At least two years leading a CNC machine shop team.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to set priorities and work with limited supervision.
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
• SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with G-code programming and editing.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Assign daily work and support team member training.
• Monitor machine utilization, efficiency, scrap rates and OEE; review time records.
• Resolve production, technical, and material flow issues.
• Use production data to answer questions and support decisions.
• Coach team members and support cross-team communication.
• Address workplace concerns and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Model safety, integrity, and care for colleagues.
• Deliver high quality in machined parts; troubleshoot machining and tooling issues.
