Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation in Tulsa is seeking a Maintenance III to perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of complex manufacturing equipment, including CNC machinery and robot automation. The role requires guiding apprentices and coordinating maintenance projects within a WaCM/WCM framework.

You will execute preventive maintenance, analyze data with PdM tools, and support safety and continuous improvement initiatives. Weekend shifts Fri–Sun 5:00am–5:30pm accompany a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum of three (3) years of documented repair and maintenance of industrial equipment.
Advanced working knowledge of AB PLC logic, Relay logic, and Servo-driven equipment; proficiency in troubleshooting 480 and low (24) voltage electrical systems, including VFDs, power supplies, relays, and contacts.
Proficiency in troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, systems, and controls.
Ability to read and interpret complex electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and part drawings/blueprints.
Proficient use of precision measuring instruments and machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders).
Advanced knowledge of CMMS platforms (e.g., SAP, Maximo) for work order management, PM, and data analysis.
Working knowledge of Predictive Maintenance (PdM) tools and data analysis (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography).
Experience with robot automation handling and CNC equipment.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair complex system failures across all industrial manufacturing equipment (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, controls).
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, calibrations, rebuilds, and part replacements; analyze data with PdM tools.
Provide technical direction and training to apprentices and crafts in repairs and projects; assist with planning and SMPs.
Fabricate and repair machine shop tools, dies, jigs, fixtures; basic layout, cutting, drilling, welding.
Operate and service mobile equipment (forklifts, cranes, vertical lifts) and related hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
Adhere to safety practices; log labor hours, parts, PM data in CMMS; drive continuous improvement using WCM practices.
