Job summary

CMI Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Part-Time CNC Machinist for Saturday and Sunday shifts (6am - 2:30pm). You will operate CNC lathes/mills, read blueprints, and verify parts meet tolerances using calipers and micrometers.

This weekend-only role does not include health benefits. Candidates should have 2–5 years of experience running CNC lathes, understand Fanuc G& M codes, and work within GD&T standards.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience running CNC lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret GD&T per standards.
• Familiarity with basic inspection equipment such as calipers and micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes and mills on proven production jobs.
• Load programs and verify operation and revisions.
• Perform in-process inspection and record data.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and report issues.
• Follow safety standards and company paperwork (MOT, travelers, etc.).
