Aerotek is seeking a CNC Machine Operator for a weekend shift in Ocala, FL. The role focuses on learning to operate 3-axis CNC Mills and Lathes, inspecting parts for quality, and eventually performing machine setups and tooling changes in a high-volume production environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and interpret diagrams.
• Proficiency with calipers and micrometers for part measurement.
• Experience operating CNC mills and lathes with attention to quality.

Responsabilités

• Learn to safely operate CNC Mills and Lathes in a production environment.
• Produce high volumes of machined parts while maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Load raw materials into machines and unload completed parts.
• Inspect finished parts using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and part diagrams.
• Select and verify machine programs based on orders and part specs.
• Perform basic machine adjustments under supervision.
• Learn to change cutting tools, inserts, and tooling components.
• Assist with machine setups and progressively perform setup activities.
