Good Samaritan – St. Vincent Care Center in Bismarck, ND is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for weekend, part-time shifts. The role focuses on resident-centered care, daily living activities, and collaboration with the nursing team.

Qualifications

• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing required at time of hire.
• Minimum age of 16; GED or HS diploma acceptable.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Continuing education credits required annually (12 hours).
• Endorsement: may need UAP registry where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist residents with transfers, repositioning, and mobility.
• Document resident interactions, vitals, and care outcomes.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to the charge nurse.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and medication administration support as needed.
