Job summary

Frederick Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for its Part Time Weekend Program in Zieglersville, PA. The CNA provides hands-on care under RN/LPN supervision, promoting a homelike atmosphere and person-centered care.

The position requires a CNA certificate (within 120 days) and a high school diploma or equivalent. Weekend shifts run Saturdays and Sundays with a base rate of 27.50/hour plus a 2.00 shift differential and a 1.00 weekend differential.

Responsibilities

• Perform resident care and activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance.
• Assist with restorative nursing programs.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to the Team Leader or Nurse Supervisor.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents, self, and staff.
• Participate in resident care conferences and care plan reviews.
• Collaborate with hall partners and Cedarwood staff to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
• Comply with infection control practices.
• Conduct or assist in resident life enrichment activities.
• Maintain walkie-talkie on person for call bell management and team communication.
• Attend and complete all required in-services, training, and team meetings.
• Abide by the organization’s code of conduct.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
