Frederick Living is hiring a part-time Personal Care Nurse Aide for evenings (10:30pm-7:00am) with every-other-weekend and holiday rotation. The role provides direct resident care, support with daily living activities, and collaboration with the care team.

Experience with older adults is preferred; CPR and First Aid are required. Benefits include health insurance, 401K, PTO, referral bonuses, and a relief fund. Join a mission-driven team focused on person-centered care.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Prior experience caring for older adults preferred.

Mansioni

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring.
• Support residents in getting to and from activities and meals.
• Assist with eating and drinking, including meal and beverage selection, cueing, and hands-on feeding.
• Offer snacks and hydration to residents between meals as needed.
• Record and report residents’ eating habits to the coordinator or charge nurse.
• Encourage resident participation in leisure activities, walking programs, and social events.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and death procedures.
• Maintain resident records daily, including weights and vital signs, in accordance with Frederick Living's policies.
• Administer medications as defined by medication procedures and physicians’ orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents.
• Change bed linens and manage resident laundry as needed.
• Respond promptly and positively to resident requests, family inquiries, and other personnel needs.
• Follow proper procedures in emergency situations and obtain additional assistance when necessary.
• Respond to resident emergencies promptly.
• Monitor resident location and notify the Nurse Supervisor/PC Manager if a resident cannot be located.
• Assist with all assigned tours of duty.
• Abide by the organization’s code of conduct
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
