Job summary

Garden Spot Communities is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a part-time weekend program in Pennsylvania. The CNA will provide hands-on care, assist with ADLs, and support resident-centered services under RN/LPN supervision.

The role emphasizes compassionate, team-based care and compliance with regulations. Candidates should be CNA-certified or enrolled for certification within 120 days; HS diploma or equivalent required. Weekend shifts include differential pay and benefits coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care and ADL assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Assist with restorative nursing programs.
• Observe and report changes to Team Leader or Nurse Supervisor.
• Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents, self, and staff.
• Participate in resident care conferences and care plan reviews.
• Collaborate with Cedarwood staff to optimize resident outcomes.
• Comply with infection control practices.
• Conduct or assist in resident life enrichment activities.
• Maintain walkie-talkie on person for effective call bell management and team communication.
• Attend and complete required in-services, training, and team meetings.
• Abide by the organization’s code of conduct.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Part Time Weekend Program- Every Saturday and Sunday 6:30am-7:00pm, off every 12th weekend.

Weekend rate $27.50/hour plus shift differential of $2.00 and weekend shift differential of $1.00.

At Frederick Living, the CNA provides hands‑on care to residents, addressing their physical and psychological needs under the direction of the RN/LPN Team Leader. This role promotes a homelike atmosphere and supports person‑centered care in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.

What You’ll Do
