Good Samaritan Society in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team. The position covers every other weekend with 8 hours per week from 6am to 2pm.

Weekend shift differentials apply and a supportive Christian, not-for-profit environment is provided. The NA will provide resident-centered nursing care, assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support the care team under RN supervision.

Qualificações

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Required CNA certification with State Board or in process of certification.
• Annual continuing education requirement (12 hours).
• May be classified as Sanford Category II Driver per role and policies.

Responsabilidades

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist residents with bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing.
• Record vital signs and communicate changes to RN.
• Assist with transfers, positioning and mobility.
• Support with meals, dining, and nutrition needs.
• Document resident interactions and care outcomes.
• Participate in wellness and recreational programs as needed.
