Job summary

Action Health Staffing is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide in-home care to clients in their residence. The role emphasizes compassionate bedside care, personal hygiene, and daily living support.

You will work under supervision, assist with transfers, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and maintain accurate records. This position may require weekend work and travel within the assigned area, with emphasis on patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Maintain certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong communication skills (reading/writing) required.
• Ability to perform lifting, bending and standing.
• Empathetic and caring attitude toward patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Provide personal hygiene care (bath, shave, hair, mouth care).
• Prepare meals with dietary considerations.
• Provide companionship and activities.
• Light housekeeping duties.
• Maintain records required by agency.
• Record and report changes in client’s condition.
• Follow Plan of Care and never administer medications.
