Job summary

Advanced Health Care of Glendale is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care, assist with activities of daily living, and promote independence and comfort. The role includes weekend shifts (Sat-Mon, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM) and collaboration with licensed nursing staff to ensure high-quality care.

The ideal candidate holds AZ CNA and CPR certifications, TB test, and fingerprint card, with strong interpersonal skills and compassion for geriatrics.

Qualifications

• AZ CNA certification and CPR certification required.
• TB test and AZ fingerprint card required.
• Ability to build rapport and provide resident-centered care.
• Strong clinical skills in assessment and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers using proper lifting techniques.
• Monitor residents' vital signs and report changes to the nursing team.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges; orient new residents.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities and provide companionship.
• Maintain a clean and infection-controlled living environment.
• Assist with dining services and record food and fluid intake.
• Document care and observations accurately and timely.
