Job summary
Cobble Hill Health Center in New York is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our compassionate team. This not-for-profit facility cares for disabled and elderly residents and offers supportive scheduling options for weekends.
As a CNA, you assist with daily living activities, maintain hygiene, observe health changes, and document care while following all policies. We value reliability, teamwork, and a patient-centered approach.
Qualifications
- Active NYS CNA certification required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong reading, writing and speaking English.
- Experience as CNA is a plus.
- Experience in skilled nursing facility preferred but not required.
- SigmaCare experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities and meals.
- Help residents with personal hygiene.
- Observe health issues and report to supervising nurse.
- Document resident food and fluid intake.
- Assist with feeding and nutritional supplements.
- Make beds and keep living areas clean.
- Transport residents within the facility.
- Assist nurses and other staff as needed.
- Adhere to facility policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident data.
