Job summary

Cobble Hill Health Center in New York is currently seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. The CNA will assist residents with daily living activities and support nursing staff to deliver quality care.

We offer competitive pay with weekly pay, union benefits, bonuses, uniforms, transportation allowances, and meal benefits on shift. This is an on-site, not-for-profit facility serving the disabled and elderly.

Qualifications

• Active New York State Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Strong English reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Prior CNA experience is a plus.
• Skilled nursing facility experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including delivering meals, turning and ambulating residents, and ensuring they receive adequate fluids and nourishment throughout the shift.
• Assist residents with personal hygiene and grooming.
• Observe residents and report any health concerns to the supervising nurse.
• Document resident food and fluid intake.
• Assist residents with feeding and nutritional supplements.
• Make residents' beds and keep living areas clean and tidy.
• Transport residents throughout the facility.
• Assist nurses and other staff members as needed.
• Adhere to professional standards and all facility policies and procedures.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all resident and facility information.
