Job summary

BrightStar Care is hiring CNAs for weekend, day, and overnight shifts in Chicago. Immediate start; Hoyer experience preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits, weekly pay, and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities include providing care under a nursing supervisor, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. Must have a valid CNA certification, CPR, and TB test results, plus at least one year of healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• A current, valid state CNA certification and in good standing.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of a CNA program.
• Certified CPR, physical, and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
• Minimum one year of documented health care experience.

Responsibilities

• Providing care as directed by a nursing supervisor, including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, toileting, and vital signs.
• Assisting with daily tasks per patient plan of care, such as feeding, meals, linen changes, light housekeeping, and transportation.
• Support with height and weight measurements when necessary.

CNA Responsibilities

Providing care as directed by a nursing supervisor, including but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, taking and recording vital signs, and assisting with height and weight measurements, if necessary

Providing care according to the patient’s plan of care, assistance with daily tasks, including but not limited to: feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, providing transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping

CNA Requirements

A current, valid state CNA certification and in good standing
