Job summary

RTX in Springdale, AR is seeking a Weekend shift CMM Operator to join our quality team. The role involves operating CMMs, inspecting parts, logging results, and ensuring compliance with specifications. Onsite work with potential overtime aligns with production goals.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with minimum 1 year of related experience.
• Subject to pre-employment drug testing and ongoing random testing per FAA 14 CFR Part 120 and 49 CFR Part 40.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and other measuring instruments and equipment.
• Set-up and operate CMM to calibrate/test equipment or inspect customer parts.
• Log results and identify any out-of-spec parts.
• Review schedules and plan daily use of resources to meet commitments.
• Communicate status within and outside the quality department.
• Assist in resolving operational, quality, and maintenance resource issues.
• Report maintenance issues with equipment to the appropriate personnel.
• Notify other shifts of problems and steps toward resolution.
• Work in a team to accomplish tasks and support improvement initiatives.
