Job summary

BAART Programs in California is seeking a part-time Security Guard to maintain safety and order at our clinic, including front desk duties and receptionist backup when needed.

You will protect employees and patients, verify IDs, manage lines, control crowds, report incidents, coordinate with local authorities, and uphold a professional, courteous demeanor; bilingual Spanish/English and a CA guard card are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 and high school diploma or equivalent with 1+ year experience in an office/clinic setting.
• Must possess active guard card from the state of California.
• Training from a law enforcement school or security training preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
• Positive rapport with patients and non-judgmental attitude required.
• Successful drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure protection of all employees and patients.
• Verify that each patient entering the building has an I.D.
• Create orderly waiting line and manage patient flow for medication.
• Perform crowd control and ensure timely clinic exit after dosing.
• Report incidents to Operations/Clinic Directors and cooperate with authorities as needed.
• Maintain safe, secure environment and perform routine security checks.
• Attend staff meetings and training; provide receptionist coverage when required.
