Job summary

BAART Programs is seeking a Part Time – Security Guard to maintain the safety and order of the clinic facility. You will protect employees and patients, verify IDs for entry, manage waiting lines, and provide backup reception coverage as needed.

Ideal candidates have a CA guard card, high school diploma, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and courteous in a busy outpatient setting. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus; background check and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21.
• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year in an office/clinic setting.
• Must possess active guard card from the state of California.
• Law enforcement/security training preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Protect employees and patients.
• Verify IDs for entry.
• Queue management and order maintenance in clinic.
• Provide receptionist backup coverage as needed.
• Report incidents to Operations/Clinic Directors.
• Maintain a safe, secure environment throughout the facility.
• Attend staff trainings as directed.
