Job summary

Bedford Wellness and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Weekend Charge Nurse (LVN/RN) to oversee operations and ensure high-quality patient care in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. The role emphasizes coordinating staff, supervising care tasks, and maintaining accurate records in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

You will administer medications, wound care, and other treatments, while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans

• Oversee daily operations of the skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, including managing staffing, coordinating patient care, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and other medical treatments as needed
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient
• Monitor and report patient progress, including documenting patient data and communicating with physicians and family members
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including incident reports, medication records, and patient data
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure continuous improvement in patient care and services
