Job summary

Bedford Wellness and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Weekend Charge Nurse (LVN/RN) to oversee daily operations and ensure high‑quality patient care in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. You will supervise staffing, coordinate care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

Applicants should be licensed LVN or RN, with strong clinical skills and a commitment to compassionate care at the bedside on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, including managing staffing, coordinating patient care, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and other medical treatments as needed
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient
• Monitor and report patient progress, including documenting patient data and communicating with physicians and family members
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including incident reports, medication records, and patient data
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure continuous improvement in patient care and services
