Job summary

Sylvan Shores Health & Wellness is hiring a LVN/LPN or RN to join as Charge Nurse. This full-time position offers a Baylor pay structure with a double weekend shift: Saturday and Sunday, 6AM-2PM and 2PM-10PM. The team focuses on high-quality patient care, strong leadership, and compliant nursing practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Unencumbered RN/LVN/LPN license.
• Proof of current CPR certification.
• Minimum 1 year experience as an RN/LVN in a clinical setting (Preferred).
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Follow established nursing standards and implement community programs, policies and procedures.
• Provide report to oncoming nurse and document follow-up actions.
• Conduct resident rounds daily and report problems to supervisor.
• Identify safety hazards and initiate corrective actions.
• Provide supervision to direct care staff and participate in meetings.
• Administer and document medications per physician orders.

Education

RN/LVN/LPN license

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
