Job summary

Williamsburg Landing Inc. seeks a Driver to transport residents to events and appointments on and off campus. The Driver operates cars and buses, maintaining a positive image and safe relationships with residents and staff.

CDL is required to be considered; weekends are required and some evenings may be needed for special events. Base pay is $18.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. A DOT physical is required at hire.

Qualifications

• Must possess current Virginia driving license and have a good driving record.
• CDL with passenger endorsement required.
• DOT physical is required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any failures.
• Escort residents and staff to and from vehicles, assist with packages and mobility aids.
• Ensure passengers are secured with seat belts or restraints before travel.
• Follow all safety rules and procedures and report accidents immediately.
• Complete passenger logs and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety.
