Job summary

La Vida Llena, a not-for-profit Life Plan Community, is seeking a Part-Time Driver – CDL to provide safe transportation for residents and guests. You will operate community vehicles, assist residents, and maintain safety while delivering excellent service.

Requirements include a valid driver's license, 1 year of driving experience, and CDL class preferred. Earn $16.00–$19.50 per hour DOE with benefits and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience driving cars, buses, or providing transportation services.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driver eligibility requirements.
• CDL Class A, B, or C and DOT Medical Certificate preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, professional, and committed to resident safety and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation for residents to medical appointments, errands, outings, special events, and other scheduled destinations.
• Safely operate community vehicles, including passenger buses and vehicles equipped with wheelchair lifts.
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles and help load and unload walkers, wheelchairs, and other mobility devices.
• Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness, monitor safety equipment, and report maintenance concerns promptly.
• Respond calmly and professionally during emergencies while ensuring residents receive outstanding customer service.
