Job summary

Fleet Landing is looking for a Part-Time Weekend Driver in Town of Florida, NY. You will provide safe and reliable transportation to residents, staff, and visitors, ensuring compliance with policies and maintaining vehicle safety.

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma, a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate, and preferably a CDL with P endorsement. Work hours are Saturdays and Sundays with competitive pay and benefits included.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience with CDL Class C or B with P endorsement.

Part-Time Weekend Driver

We are seeking a Part-Time Weekend Driver whose primary responsibility is to plan, organize and work with the Transportation Manager and Dispatcher to provide the daily transportation and other services for the Residents of Fleet Landing and for the facility's business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Follows all established safety procedures and precautions. Reports all unsafe/ hazardous conditions, and/ or defective equipment to Manager. Reports all incidents/accidents, no matter how minor, to Manager.
• Provides transportation services to Fleet Landing Residents, Visitors, and Staff, conforming to approved policies.
• Keeps company vehicles clean and oversees that they are in good running condition and that preventative maintenance is performed as scheduled.
• Maintains confidentiality of all pertinent Resident information and maintains compliance with HIPPA guidelines.

Qualifications

Minimum Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Must possess and maintain a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate before and throughout employment (if CDL holder).

Experience: CDL Class C with P endorsement preferred. CDL Class B with P endorsement and air-brakes preferred. One (1) year minimum preferred.

Employment Variables: Hours of this position are Saturdays 10:00am-9:00pm and Sundays 8:00am-3:00pm.
