IncrediCare in McLean, VA is seeking permanent weekend caregivers to provide in-home assistance and companionship. You will help with daily activities, mobility, personal care, and light housekeeping while offering support that enhances clients' quality of life.

This role requires weekend availability, good communication, and compassionate patient care. Prior in-home care experience and CPR certification are preferred, with a focus on health and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in-home care experience; dementia experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Excellent communication and compassionate bedside manner.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to work weekend shifts.

Responsabilités

• Engage in activities to stimulate the mind and spirit.
• Help with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Help with completing physical therapy and other recommended exercise.
• Complete shopping or accompany clients when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping including meal preparation.
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members.
• Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
• Clean and disinfect frequently touched areas, including changing bed sheets.

Benefits

• On-Boarding and Retention Bonuses
  • All new hires will receive a $75 bonus upon successful completion of two days orientation. This in addition to the standard pay rate for training/orientation
  • Upon successful completion offirst full shift, EMPLOYEE will receive $100 bonus in addition to the shift pay rate.
  • Upon 90 days continuous employment with the AGENCY with no missed shifts and a minimum of 250 hours worked , EMPLOYEE will receive an additional $250 bonus.

Requirements:

• Minimum Two Years In-Home Care experience. Dementia experience preferred
• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks
• Able to lift 50 Lbs
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• High school diploma or equivalent
