Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a dependable caregiver to provide one-on-one support for a client in a facility setting. The role focuses on mobility assistance, personal care, and companionship while maintaining safety and dignity throughout the shift.

This part-time weekend assignment runs Saturdays and Sundays, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, with a weekend pay differential and paid orientation. You will collaborate with our scheduling team to coordinate transfers, fall prevention, and daily

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving or personal care experience preferred.
• Experience assisting clients with mobility, transfers, or wheelchair use is highly desirable.
• Ability to provide hands-on daily activities support while following care plans.
• Ability to follow transfer and fall-prevention procedures.

Responsibilities

• Mobility and transfers: assist with standing, pivoting, and transfers between bed, wheelchair, and toilet.
• Fall prevention: supervise and ensure safety during mobility activities.
• Wheelchair assistance: safely manage wheelchair mobility to bed and bathroom.
• Personal care: assist with toileting and daily activities as needed.
• Positioning and comfort: help client reposition per care plan.
• Companionship and supervision: provide reassuring presence and supervision.
• Care coordination: communicate observations to office contact and follow care plan.
