Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking a compassionate caregiver in Fort Worth, TX for a part-time in-home role. The schedule is Monday–Friday with two shifts (9:00 AM–11:00 AM and 9:00 PM–11:00 PM), totaling 10 hours per week, at $20.00 per hour.

Paid orientation and required training are provided, with biweekly direct deposit and a referral program. The caregiver assists with transfers, personal care, mobility and safety, promotes independence, and communicates changes promptly to the office.

Qualifications

• Previous professional caregiving experience preferred.
• Experience assisting clients with transfers and mobility is highly desirable.
• Ability to provide hands-on personal care and follow established safety procedures.
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the assignment.
• Willingness to complete required onboarding and training.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance, as required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Transfer clients between bed and wheelchair following care plan and procedures.
• Assist with showering, hygiene, and other personal care activities.
• Help client move safely and maintain proper positioning.
• Encourage independence while providing assistance as needed.
• Proactively check on client’s needs and offer help.
• Promptly report concerns or changes in condition to the office.
