Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking a dependable caregiver to provide one-on-one support for a client in a Fort Worth facility. The role emphasizes mobility, transfers, personal care, and companionship, with a consistent weekend schedule.

Shifts are Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM in Fort Worth, TX 76126. This part-time weekend assignment offers paid orientation, biweekly direct deposit, and scheduling support.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving or personal care experience preferred.
• Experience assisting clients with mobility, transfers, or wheelchair use is highly desirable.
• Ability to provide hands-on assistance with daily activities while following the care plan.
• Ability to follow transfer and fall-prevention procedures.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance, as required for the position.
• Dependable attendance and commitment to both Saturday and Sunday shifts.
• Strong communication skills and a patient, professional approach.
• Willingness to complete required onboarding and training.

Responsibilities

• Mobility and Transfers: Provide hands-on assistance with standing, pivoting, and transfers between bed, wheelchair, and toilet.
• Fall Prevention: Maintain close supervision during mobility and transfer activities.
• Wheelchair Assistance: Safely assist with wheelchair mobility to and from bed and bathroom.
• Personal Care: Assist with toileting and other daily activities as needed.
• Positioning and Comfort: Help the client reposition comfortably per care plan.
• Companionship and Supervision: Provide a reassuring presence and attentive supervision.
• Care Coordination: Communicate observations to the office and follow the care plan.
