Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care of King, Snohomish, and Pierce Counties in Bothell is hiring immediately for compassionate caregivers to cover weekend shifts. A licensed and insured driver is required, with other shifts available as needed.

As an Acti-Kare caregiver, you will help seniors with daily activities, provide companionship, and support independence in their own homes. Competitive pay and benefits are offered, with flexible hours and ongoing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active CNA or HCA certification with the state of Washington or in training.
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass background and fingerprint checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide pleasant and supportive companionship.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside.
• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, dressing and daily tasks.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation for clients.
• Report any incidents to agency, medical staff and family.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.

About Us:

As an Actikare caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors by assisting them with daily activities, providing companionship, and enabling them to maintain their independence in the comfort of their own homes.

Caregiver Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive Pay: $21.00 - $23 per hour for HCA and CNA caregivers

Caregiver / Home Care Aid (HCA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities:

• Provide pleasant and supportive companionship
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and other daily living tasks
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Prepare for clients
• Report any unusual incidents to agency, medical professionals, and family members
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Caregiver Requirements:

• Active CNA or HCA certification with the state of Washington - or proof of completion or current enrollment in training program
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprint check
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English
• U.S. work authorization (Mandatory)
• Strong commitment to reliability and punctuality
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks
