Job summary

Cornerstone Assisted Living, a Cassia community, in Plymouth, MN, is hiring Weekend Caregivers (CNA, HHA, or PCA) to join our team. This every-other-weekend position offers a predictable schedule and flexible hours with competitive pay and benefits.

As a Weekend Caregiver you will assist residents with daily living activities and support a compassionate care team. Experience preferred; training available for the right candidate with a heart for serving seniors.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA) or PCA experience preferred but not required.
• Med passing experience strongly preferred but not required.
• A passion for geriatric care.
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Ability to work a consistent work schedule.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed; report changes to the nurse.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Observe resident and report changes in physical and emotional condition to the supervisor.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.
