Fields Senior Living in Vacaville, CA is seeking caring caregivers to assist residents with daily living activities per service plans and to uphold resident rights.

CPR/First Aid certification and ability to pass background checks are required; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret care plans.
  • Ability to pass Urinary Analysis drug screening upon hire and routinely.
  • Must be eighteen (18) years old and CPR/First Aid certified.
  • Experience with Assisted Living and Memory Care regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with ADL tasks per service plans (bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing).
  • Observe resident rights and privacy at all times.
  • Support residents with emotional and behavioral needs.
  • Assist other staff on the floors as needed.
  • Help residents get to and from meals.
  • Encourage participation in activities and lead when asked.
  • Maintain safe, clean environment and report safety concerns.
  • Attend in-services/workshops to enhance skills.

Job description

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Assisting residents with ADL tasks as indicated in their service plans. This includes but not limited to: assisting withbathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, oral care, ambulation, transfers, servingandassisting withmeals, feeding,housekeeping,bedmaking,andlaundry
  • Always observe and uphold resident rights
  • Positively supports residents with emotional and behavioral issues
  • Assistotherstaffasneededonthefloors
  • Assistresidentstoandfrommeals
  • Supports resident activity participation by assisting residents to/from activities, encouraging participation, and leading activities when asked.
  • Must be willing to work with staff from all departments to ensure quality of careforresidents
  • Keepenvironment safeandcleanforresidents;performing housekeeping duties as indicate don cleaning schedule or assignment sheets.
  • Observe residents for safety and report any and all changes in resident conditioneffectively,accurately,andinatimelymannertoLNonduty
  • Assist in development and revision of Service Plans by informing supervisor of current resident needs and preferences as well as successful service approaches.
  • Answers all resident pendant/pull cords immediately.
  • Carryandpossessaworkingknowledgeofcommunitycall/communication system
  • All other duties as assigned.

  • Must be a mature individual. Must possess the ability to multi-task in a fast-pacedenvironment and perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on shortnotice.
  • Must have strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to prioritize and meetdeadlines.
  • Mustbedetailandteam-workoriented.
  • Must attend required in-services/ workshops to further education of skills andcommunityrequirements.
Qualifications:
  • MustbeDrugfreeandsubmittoUrinaryAnalysisDrugscreeninguponhireandroutinely.
  • Must be able to pass Criminal Background Check, Health Screening including TB test.
  • Must be eighteen (18) years old.
  • Maintains current CPR and first aid certification.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret care plans.
  • Assisted Living and Memory Care regulations knowledge.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize assignments.
  • The employee shall be responsible for maintaining the integrity of Fields Senior Living
Physical Demands and Requirements:
  • Maintain ability to lift 50 pounds; to stand or walk throughout the vast majority of the work day; and to frequently push, pull, bend, twist and reach.
  • Mustbewillingtobeactiveandonfeetduringentireworkshift.
  • Involves light to heavy physical activity performing non-strenuous and strenuous activities.
  • Must have sufficient manual dexterity to work with the fingers and to reach/hand items.
