Job summary

Fields Senior Living is seeking compassionate staff to support residents with daily living activities, safety, and privacy. You will assist with bathing, dressing, meals, and mobility while upholding resident rights and confidentiality.

Roles include teamwork across departments, leading activities when asked, and ensuring a clean, safe environment. CPR/First Aid and background checks are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADL tasks per service plans (bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, oral care, ambulation, transfers, meals).
• Observe and uphold resident rights and report changes.
• Support residents with emotional/behavioral issues.
• Assist other staff on floors as needed.
• Assist residents to and from meals and activities; lead activities when asked.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure quality of care for residents.
• Keep environment safe and clean; perform housekeeping as scheduled.
• Answer resident pendant/pull cords promptly.
• Maintain working knowledge of community call/communication system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with ADL tasks as indicated in their service plans. This includes but not limited to: assisting withbathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, oral care, ambulation, transfers, servingandassisting withmeals, feeding,housekeeping,bedmaking,andlaundry
• Always observe and uphold resident rights
• Positively supports residents with emotional and behavioral issues
• Assistotherstaffasneededonthefloors
• Assistresidentstoandfrommeals
• Supports resident activity participation by assisting residents to/from activities, encouraging participation, and leading activities when asked.
• Must be willing to work with staff from all departments to ensure quality of careforresidents
• Keepenvironment safeandcleanforresidents;performing housekeeping duties as indicate don cleaning schedule or assignment sheets.
• Observe residents for safety and report any and all changes in resident conditioneffectively,accurately,andinatimelymannertoLNonduty
• Assist in development and revision of Service Plans by informing supervisor of current resident needs and preferences as well as successful service approaches.
• Answers all resident pendant/pull cords immediately.
• Carryandpossessaworkingknowledgeofcommunitycall/communication system
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• MustbeDrugfreeandsubmittoUrinaryAnalysisDrugscreeninguponhireandroutinely.
• Must be able to pass Criminal Background Check, Health Screening including TB test.
• Must be eighteen (18) years old.
• Maintains current CPR and first aid certification.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret care plans.
• Assisted Living and Memory Care regulations knowledge.
• Ability to prioritize and organize assignments.
• The employee shall be responsible for maintaining the integrity of Fields Senior Living

Physical Demands and Requirements:

• Maintain ability to lift 50 pounds; to stand or walk throughout the vast majority of the work day; and to frequently push, pull, bend, twist and reach.
• Mustbewillingtobeactiveandonfeetduringentireworkshift.
• Involves light to heavy physical activity performing non-strenuous and strenuous activities.
• Must have sufficient manual dexterity to work with the fingers and to reach/hand items.
