Seniors Helping Seniors Ozarks is seeking weekend caregivers to support seniors in the Springfield area, including Nixa, Ozark, Republic, and Willard. Caregivers provide companionship, light housekeeping, errands, and meal preparation in the clients’ homes.

Positions emphasize empathy, reliability, and caring service. Benefits include a flexible schedule and opportunities to build lasting relationships while supporting seniors’ independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide Companionship and Homemaker duties as listed, including light housekeeping, errands, meal preparation, and transportation to appointments.
• Personal Care duties include dressing, showering/bathing, mobility and toileting support, and memory care.
• Other responsibilities include arriving on time, documenting services, reporting changes, communicating with the office, and clocking in/out in the care system.

Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home care services of Ozarks (SHS) brightens the lives of seniors who can benefit from a helping hand and a friendly smile. Our caregivers, who are seniors themselves, make life a little easier by providing compassionate care in the comfort of our care receiver’s home.

SHS empowers seniors to continue living independently by caring for day-to-day tasks that become more challenging as seniors age.

Companionship and Homemaker Duties may include:

• Provide Companionship
• Assist with Light Housekeeping such as laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, etc…
• Shopping and Errands
• Meal Preparation
• Medication Reminders
• Pet Care
• Light Yard Work
• Light Handyman Services
• Overnight Supervision
• Incidental Transportation to doctor's appointments, family, or their favorite restaurant

Personal Care Duties may include:

• Assist with Dressing
• Assist with Feedingly? Wait we forgot closing tag
• Assist with Showering / Bathing
• Mobility Assistance
• Assist with Toileting / Incontinence
• Memory Care

Other Responsibilities:

• Arrive on Time for all Services
• Maintain documentation of all services provided
• Record and report changes in the client's physical condition, behavior, or appearance to our office staff
• Communicate regularly and proactively with our office staff
• Participate in relevant in-service opportunities and other informational meeting when possible
• Clock in and out using our care management system
