Job summary

Seniors Helping Seniors Ozarks provides in-home companionship and homemaker services to help seniors stay independent in their own homes. Caregivers support daily tasks, light housekeeping, shopping, meal prep, medication reminders, and light personal care under a structured care plan.

We offer a flexible schedule, opportunities to earn extra income, and meaningful relationships with clients, often forming lasting bonds through compassionate, elder-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Provide Companionship and Homemaker duties as listed (see detailed items).
• Personal Care Duties may include assistance with dressing, feeding, showering, mobility, toileting, and memory care.
• Other Responsibilities include punctual arrival, documenting services, reporting changes to the office, proactive communication, and clocking in/out via care management system.

Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home care services of Ozarks (SHS) brightens the lives of seniors who can benefit from a helping hand and a friendly smile. Our caregivers, who are seniors themselves, make life a little easier by providing compassionate care in the comfort of our care receiver’s home.

SHS empowers seniors to continue living independently by caring for day-to-day tasks that become more challenging as seniors age.

Companionship and Homemaker Duties may include:

• Provide Companionship

• Assist with Light Housekeeping such as laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, etc…

• Shopping and Errands

• Meal Preparation

• Medication Reminders

• Pet Care

• Light Yard Work

• Light Handyman Services

• Overnight Supervision

• Incidental Transportation to doctor’s appointments, family, or their favorite restaurant

Personal Care Duties may include:

• Assist with Dressing

• Assist with Feeding

• Assist with Showering / Bathing

• Mobility Assistance

• Assist with Toileting / Incontinence

• Memory Care

Other Responsibilities:

• Arrive on Time for all Services

• Caregivers may be contacted by management outside of standard office hours when coverage is needed for open shifts.
• Maintain documentation of all services provided

• Record and report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance to our office staff

• Communicate regularly and proactively with our office staff

• Participate in relevant in-service opportunities and other informational meeting when possible

• Clock in and out using our care management system
