Job summary

Seniors Helping Seniors Ozarks in Springfield, Missouri is hiring compassionate in-home caregivers to brighten the lives of seniors in their own homes.

As a SHS caregiver you will provide companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands and personal care with empathy, reliability and a positive attitude. You’ll work on a flexible schedule, build lasting relationships with clients, and help seniors maintain independence through supportive, respectful service.

Responsibilities

• Provide Companionship.
• Assist with Light Housekeeping such as laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, etc…
• Shopping and Errands
• Meal Preparation
• Medication Reminders
• Pet Care
• Light Yard Work
• Light Handyman Services
• Overnight Supervision
• Incidental Transportation to doctor’s appointments, family, or their favorite restaurant
• Assist with Dressing
• Assist with Feeding
• Assist with Showering / Bathing
• Mobility Assistance
• Assist with Toileting / Incontinence
• Memory Care
• Arrive on Time for all Services
• Caregivers may be contacted by management outside of standard office hours when coverage is needed for open shifts.
• Maintain documentation of all services provided
• Record and report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance to our office staff
• Communicate regularly and proactively with our office staff
• Participate in relevant in-service opportunities and other informational meeting when possible
• Clock in and out using our care management system
