Job summary

Village Caregiving in Kentucky seeks compassionate home caregivers to support clients at home with medication reminders, mobility assistance, personal care, and light housekeeping. You will help clients with daily tasks, accompany them to appointments, and assist with rehabilitation exercises.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and basic CPR certification, plus strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Remind clients to take prescribed medication.

• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own, including preparing meals.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required
• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks
• High school diploma or equivalent
