Job summary

Village Caregiving is seeking compassionate caregivers in Kentucky to support clients at home. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, mobility, medication reminders, and meal preparation, while upholding safety standards and warm, respectful patient care.

The caregiver will assist with personal hygiene, exercise routines, and light housekeeping, and may accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed. Strong communication and reliability are essential."

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred depending on role.

Responsibilities

• Remind clients to take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.).
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own, including preparing meals.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required
• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks
• High school diploma or equivalent
