Job summary

Actikare is hiring caregivers in Bothell, WA for weekend shifts. We seek compassionate CNAs or HCAs willing to do 4-hour shifts and to drive with a valid license and insurance. Our team provides in-home care to seniors to preserve independence and dignity at home.

We offer competitive pay ($21.00–$23.00/hour for HCA/CNA), flexible hours, health/vision/dental insurance, PTO & sick leave, and free continuing education. All offers contingent upon background checks and references.

Qualifications

• Active CNA or HCA certification with the state of Washington or current enrollment in a training program.
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass background checks.
• Ability to read, write, and follow directions in English.
• U.S. work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, supportive companionship to seniors.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility for appointments and activities.
• Help with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and daily tasks.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Report incidents to the agency, medical professionals, and family.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.

Actikare Responsive In Home Care is actively seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers, CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants), or HCAs (Home Care Aides) with experience caring for seniors to join our award-winning team. Caregiver Compensation and Benefits:

Caregiver / Home Care Aid (HCA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities:

• Provide pleasant and supportive companionship
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and other daily living tasks
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Prepare for clients
• Report any unusual incidents to agency, medical professionals, and family members
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Caregiver Requirements:

• ActiveCNA or HCA certification with the state of Washington - or proof of completion or current enrollment in training program
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprint check
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English
• U.S. work authorization (Mandatory)
• Strong commitment to reliability and punctuality
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks
