Job summary

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care is hiring immediately for weekend caregivers in Bothell. Shifts are 4 hours; candidates must have a valid driver's license and insurance to drive clients.

We welcome CNAs, HCAs, and experienced caregivers to join our award-winning team and help seniors maintain independence at home. We offer competitive pay ($21.00–$23.00/hr for HCA/CNA), flexible hours, health, vision and dental insurance, PTO and sick leave, and free continuing education.

Qualifications

• Active CNA or HCA certification in Washington or current enrollment in training.
• Ability to read, write, and follow English instructions.
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and supportive care to seniors.

• Report incidents to agency, medical professionals, and family.

Caregiver Compensation and Benefits

Caregiver / Home Care Aid (HCA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities

• Provide pleasant and supportive companionship
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and other daily living tasks
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Prepare for clients
• Report any unusual incidents to agency, medical professionals, and family members
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Caregiver Requirements

• Active CNA or HCA certification with the state of Washington - or proof of completion or current enrollment in training program
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprint check
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English
• U.S. work authorization (Mandatory)
• Strong commitment to reliability and punctuality
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks
