Job summary

Lifesteps, a local, human service agency with a long history, is hiring compassionate staff to work with adults who have disabilities in a residential home setting in Bellevue, PA.

Direct Care Aides (Caregivers) assist with activities of daily living, including dressing, meal preparation, bathing and transportation to appointments. Duties also include cooking, cleaning, shopping, personal care, medication administration and community activities.

Qualifications

• 18 yrs. or older.
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance.
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances required.

Direct Care Aides assist special needs individuals with their activities of daily living and home care. The direct care aide provides assistance to adults with disabilities helping them with daily activities like dressing, meal preparation, bathing, and transport to doctor appointments.

Lifesteps offers steady, part-time hours! Available Shifts are: Daytime 9 am to 9 pm
