Lifesteps, a local human service agency, is hiring Direct Care Aides to support adults with disabilities in Bellevue, PA. Work includes daily living activities, meals, personal care, and transportation to appointments in a residential home setting.

No experience is necessary, and paid training is provided. Part-time daytime shifts from 9 am to 9 pm, with opportunities for weekend work and ongoing support from a compassionate team.

Qualifications

• ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances required.
• Paid training provided.

Responsibilities

Direct Care Aides (Caregivers)

assist special needs individuals with their activities of daily living and home care. The direct care aide provides assistance to adults with disabilities helping them with daily activities like dressing, meal preparation, bathing, and transport to doctor appointments.

Duties

can include:

• Cooking and serving meals
• Cleaning the house
• Shopping for groceries and supplies
• Personal care assistance like grooming or bathing
• Medication administration
