Job summary

Lifesteps Inc. in Bellevue, PA seeks Direct Care Aides to support adults with disabilities in a residential home setting. No experience required; paid training provided. Full-time hours with overnight shifts 11 pm–7 am are available, plus part-time options.

You will assist with daily living activities, meals, grooming, medications, transport, and outings, in a safe, compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• 18 yrs. or older
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances required

Responsibilities

• Direct Care Aides assist adults with disabilities in activities of daily living and home care.
• Duties include cooking, cleaning, shopping for groceries, personal care, and transport to doctor appointments.
• Medication administration and community outings are also part of the role.

Direct Care Aides(Caregivers) assist special needs individuals with their activities of daily living and home care. The direct care aide provides assistance to adults with disabilities helping them with daily activities like dressing, meal preparation, bathing, and transport to doctor appointments.
