Job summary

Empathy is transforming how families navigate life’s difficult moments by combining technology with compassionate care. The Care Specialist (Weekend Day Shift) supports families via live chat and phone, handling inquiries, and creating detailed care plans.

This part-time role requires comfort with overnight hours and a strong ability to research resources and connect users to appropriate services. You will work on a 24/7 basis with a team, responding to live chats, taking inbound calls, and

Responsibilities

• Provide expert, empathetic chat and phone support to users (inbound calls and live chats).
• Develop detailed Care Plans for users.
• Handle requests related to account closures, pricing, planning, and sourcing vendors.
• Maintain high-quality written communication using the Empathy voice.
• Research resources and guide users to appropriate services and providers.
• Navigate and update the Care Team knowledge base and related resources.
