Job summary

Palomar Health in Escondido, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Acute unit under a Weekend Only Worker program. The role covers 3-12 hour night shifts on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with full-time benefits eligibility and a weekend differential of $18 per hour.

The RN delivers coordinated nursing care, coordinates plans of care with patients and families, supervises nursing staff, and adheres to California nursing standards.

Qualifications

• Current CA RN license required.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1 year of RN experience in the area of specialty.
• 2+ years of RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide coordinated nursing care for assigned patients.
• Coordinate plan of care with patient, family and interdisciplinary team.
• Supervise and direct activities of nursing and ancillary staff.
• Adhere to California Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.
