Job summary

Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport seeks a Custodian/Floater to help maintain student residences and campus facilities. This weekend role supports a vibrant learning environment by keeping spaces clean, safe, and welcoming.

You will handle trash, clean common areas, floors, and restrooms, and assist with light duties. The Saturday-Sunday schedule runs 10:00 AM – 8:30 PM with a half-hour lunch break, offering stable hours and opportunities to grow within the Facilities team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent (Preferred).
• Valid driver’s license (Preferred).
• Experience as a custodian (Preferred).
• Familiarity with automated cleaning equipment (Preferred).
• Ability to read, write, and interpret instructions (Required).

Responsibilities

• Dispose of trash and clean common living spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and shampoos floors and carpets.
• Clean bathrooms, replenish supplies, and wash surfaces.
• Clean windows, walls, and door glass; maintain equipment.
• Assist with special events setup and basic repairs as needed.
